It's eerily different from that of how Sampo presents in front of the trailblazer and others.★ He is involved in interstellar and illegal animal trade. She has developed a fixation upon the most eccentric of beings that roam this realm— both for profit and aesthetic. Crystalline lizards, geomarrow olms, funeral worms, wolves, bears, birds: these are only a few examples. You name it, and Sampo has handled them as monetary goods! This makes it clear that his products know no bounds, including items such as revoked books. It is rumored that he even harbors copies of Tale of Winterlands, a classic folklore written by an author that had vanished into thin air!★ Given Sampo's line of work, there is not much room for authentic bonds with humans. Furthermore, her main company outside of her colleagues proves to be Ilmarinen and Louhi— two snow leopards. Despite their regal stature such creatures were obtained through the black market. Additionally, they are siblings and share contrasting temperaments. They are hostile to strangers unless commanded otherwise. The two critters are mutated due to the atmosphere of their origins, and are much larger in frame, all whilst honing rigid, saber teeth.★ She is etiquette-oriented. You could consider Koski quite the gentleman with how he carries himself and treats others. To hold open the door for a stranger, or to display a polite bow in greeting is not a rare feat! You could consider her old-fashioned in that way. Sampo views social interactions to be no less than a play, in the sense that she can experiment and toy with her self-portrayal to her liking. Despite the charming gestures, Sampo doesn't take himself very seriously! So long as the job is done, and the outcome he wishes for is acquired, there's no harm in leaving a person or two smitten... Right? If anything, one could call him quite the romantic in a vast sea of contexts! After all, swaying a guy's one of the many valued utilities of a good businessman!★ If you need help hiding your traces, Koski's the person to look for! Despite his careless and non-questioning persona, he's privy to a terrain's weak points. Moreover, the way they respond to the heel. Sampo cares not to leave footprints in the snow. On top of this, he's capable of tracking a person in terms of reading the bits and pieces of their trek that they'd left behind. This goes for animals and non-humanoid entities as well. ★ Sampo proves to be a crafty individual, having a habit of drawing suspicion towards himself. Oxymoronically, his overt ( or open ) demeanor can cause people to let their guard down. He not only presents himself as someone who can prove to be a frequent liar, but also a lousy liar. Even Natasha has noted that he wouldn't " hurt a fly " ... Whether this is true or not is left to ambiguity. But, there is no doubt that there is something beyond the surface of his persona. Sampo possessed a keen insight on human behavior and emotion. Theoretically, it is likely that his presentation is fraudulent and for the sake of no one posing a true issue to him. In Koski's eyes, vanity is a tell-tale of the human experience. Humanity is maintained through the care of self-portrayal, and with that, Sampo possesses one-a-many faces. Brughel Poisson is only a crack upon the mask of the multitude of roles that Sampo plays. Life is one big lalapalooza of theatrics ; everything in this reality is fabricated. It is important to learn to take things on the nose, but nothing is so serious that there is a necessity for true melancholy or structure. For that reason, Sampo may come across as light-hearted in a range of events, even in life and death. For instance, there is a lightcone ( click to view ) in which he casts a smug gaze to the wielder of a sniper rifle pointed at him. It seems that Sampo can prove to be a bit of an adrenaline-junkie, satisfying his cravings through riveting human interaction.His lack of responsibility and the way he weaves in and out of situations depending on his own endeavors can be understandably irritating to some. On the other hand, it is important to signify that Sampo does not lack a heart. He may be an indulgent person who gauges a great interest in wealth, though the purpose of that money is the ability to maintain independence, freedom, and the ability to enjoy the small things in life. Outside of the tasks that Sampo is provided, he isn't inherently malicious. Of course his mercenary-relayed duties can involve eliminating a figure, though this isn't as often as smuggling deals or intel-related exchanges. Regardless, he will get the job done, no matter if it's sloppy. Some may point out that his concern for Bronya's safety is an indicator of empathy ; but, it is more likely that he needed her in one piece, because his purpose was to orchestrate Belobog's arc for whatever reason. Again, this doesn't mean that he is heartless, but the motivations of his business often come first. He may not be so eager to kill anyone dead, but this doesn't mean he lacks qualms with leaving people in the dust if it will benefit him. Koski is a conman at the end of the day, no matter his denials and insistences that his ability to repackage information is innocent. This makes close-companionship difficult, especially when he lacks self-preservation, or any sense of self for that matter.He rarely experiences the opportunity to undo the mask that has fused itself into his flesh. For when has depicting himself whole-heartedly ever benefitted him?

Any ships with Sampo that involve non-men are perceived as sapphic by me. Moreover, any romantic relationship, even with a masc-aligned character would be considered queer in my book given the fact my interp is non-binary and fem-aligned. I'm not interested in cishet pairings, most of the time. Respect that as far as writing with me! Thanks. For pairings, I have no preferences since I haven't had the chance to explore them as much through writing!But, a few that I find cute are with: Gepard, Jing Yuan, Welt, Serval, Natasha, Trailblazer, Dan Heng, Etc.
